About me

After graduating as a state-certified leader for popular music at the Music College Regensburg, I took lessons in arranging with Markus Fritsch (Regensburg) and in composition and sound engineering with Rüdiger Blömer (Bonn). This was followed by a bachelor’s degree in composition for film and theater at the ArtEZ University of the Arts. My composition teacher was Dolf de Kinkelder.

Already during my studies I took on my first commissions as a composer, sound designer and sound engineer for theater productions. Here is an excerpt of my work:

  • Compositions for Annemieke Ijzerman (harp), Kees van der Harst (bass clarinet), Rik Helmes (piano), Tanne Harder (harp), Matangi String Quartet, Gelders Orkest
  • Composition, music production and film sound mixing for the Rundfunkmuseum in Fürth (2018, director: Christina Rößner)
  • Composition and sound design for the play Alkestis at the Kammerspiele in Frankfurt a.M. (2016, director: Julie van den Berghe)
  • Composition, sound design, music supervision and live mixing for the play De Meester en Margarita (2015, directed by Julie van den Berghe)

In the course of time I attended masterclass workshops for example with:

  • Martin Fondse (film composition)
  • Alex Komlex (synthsizer sound programming)
  • Marcelo Baldin (sound design)
  • Peter Fuchs (film sound mixing)
